Press 2 / 2011 GOALS FOR FUA
The Governing Board of the Uruguayan Federation of Chess want to share with all of its members, the main lines of action proposed for the current year in view of long-term goals that contain them.
The objectives are genuine points of commonality among all the chess community in the country and mediate guiding our work.

First Objective: Growth the critical mass of players. Community outreach.
Media: Development of Children and Youth Chess.
Policy proposals:
Chess Strengthening Project in the Full Time School. We will try to extend the project to a larger number of full-time schools. We will work with teacher training to generate new teachers and continue to School Chess Congress.
Develop participatory proposals according to a model based on four formats of events, leisure recreational, educational equity, school federation competitive and competitive.
In this context, this year the timing circuits incorporate children, divided into five stages, which will take place throughout the country. In the same event will alternate with presentations of national teachers to improve the quality of our youth.

The registration fee for the quarter-finals of each club is up to 300 pesos. To dump into the coffers of the AUM 100 pesos per player plus the cost of ELO
SEMIFINAL
The semifinals will be played in the city of Paysandu from Friday March 4 to 20 hours until Tuesday March 8 ( days of Carnival). In short timetable be drawn up with its regulations.
The registration fee is 300 pesos each participant.

b) Those who have more than 2199 ELO points National listing in October 2010
c) with more than 2099 points ELO FIDE, listing in October 2010
d) The first and second U-20 Youth Championship 2010 Absolute
e) The first and second Under-18 Youth Championship 2010 Absolute
f) The first Under 16 Youth Championship 2010, Absolute
g) The first and second Absolute Women's Championship 2010.
h) The first and second Women's Championship S20 2010.
i) Players who hold the title of National Master, FIDE Master, International Master or Grand Master.
